Her are some alternative activities in Haparanda that I recommend.

Rainbow

We have two lakes near by Kivijärvi and in Kalix Metträsk.I recommend Metträsk in this lake its possible use a floating tub.

Its quite large lake but its idea for floating tub fishing. there are rainbow, trout, artic char and grayling. But al the fish in the lake is not wild stock. They have smaller lake to and its fly only and there are rainbow and trout in the lake. The largest trout last season form Metträsk was 4.5 kg or 9.92 pounds

Karting

When gasoline runs in your blood vessel….  

Karting is suitable for everyone from 4/year. Aspen karting has 8 rental cars for adults and 4 cars for children age 4 to 8. the track is high standard track its 640 m long and 8m wide    

The track is open for the public from 13.00to 19.00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and on Sundays. And on Tuesdays and Tuesday from 13.00 to 17.00

In July is the track open daily from 13.00 to 19.00

Green Zone Golf

The course is unique it’s situated on the border of Finland and Sweden. There are 11 holes on the Swedish side and 7 on the finish side.  It’s possible to hit a long HOLE IN ONE the ball can be in the air for one hour and five seconds. Because the time deferens between Finland and Sweden.

Around the midsummer the sun is shining through the night.  That makes it possible to play through the night if you want to. You must have a green card to play on this course.The golf club has 8 set of golf outfits for rental. Green zone has also a smaller course a par 3 course; you don’t need a green card to play on this course
